Woman Threatens to Pour Bleach Down Friend’s Throat in ‘Campaign of Harassment’

A woman named Kayleigh Davies was involved in a disturbing case where she threatened to pour bleach down her former friend Samantha Osborne’s throat. The incident occurred following Osborne calling Davies a “paedophile,” who had a prior conviction for a historical sex offense. The court heard how Davies sent threatening voice notes to Osborne and verbally abused her in Pensarn between January and May of this year. One of the messages included Davies expressing her desire to tie up Osborne and pour bleach down her throat, creating a hostile situation for the victim.

Prosecutor Rebecca Kuipers highlighted, “Fight me, you fat c***,” in one of the messages Davies sent to Osborne, demonstrating the aggressive nature of the communication.

The situation escalated to a point where Davies admitted to harassment, causing Osborne to fear violence. In response, a judge at Llandudno Magistrates Court gave Davies a 12-week jail term, suspended for 12 months, emphasizing the severity of the harassment campaign conducted by Davies. The court proceedings revealed that Davies apologized for her inappropriate behavior but was still held accountable for her actions.

Defending Davies, Simon Sargent acknowledged that his client mishandled the situation by allowing her emotions to take over, leading to regretful outcomes.

As a result of the court’s decision, Davies was ordered to attend 15 days of rehabilitation activity to address her behavior and its impact on others. Additionally, she was subjected to a 12-month restraining order preventing any contact with Osborne, either in person or online, as well as restricted access to her residence. Davies was also required to pay a £154 surcharge and £85 in prosecution costs, highlighting the legal consequences of her actions. The case serves as a reminder of the importance of managing conflicts in a responsible and non-threatening manner to avoid serious repercussions.
