Fervent Walkers’ fans lined up eagerly to get their hands on a bag of the long-lost Worcester Sauce flavour crisps, which made a triumphant return after Walkers halted production in 2023. Shoppers were overjoyed to discover that the crisps, made with authentic Worcestershire Sauce from Lea and Perrin, were back on the shelves. Some devoted fans even travelled all the way from Glasgow to taste the first batches fresh from the factory. The queues started forming at Charlie’s Convenience Store on Barbourne Road in Worcester, the sole retailer offering these in-demand crisps. The shop, managed by 31-year-old Gubir Singh, affectionately known as Gav, has been in his family’s possession since 2019. Regarding the revival of the crisps, Gav expressed, “I was delighted to be asked to assist in the relaunch of the Worcester Sauce flavour crisps.
