Ticket Prices Slashed for Wales’ Autumn Internationals
The Welsh Rugby Union (WRU) has recently announced the ticket prices for Wales’ upcoming autumn fixtures against Argentina, Japan, New Zealand, and South Africa. The matches are set to take place at the Principality Stadium in November, following a winless campaign for Wales last autumn.
Fans are eagerly anticipating the return of international rugby to Cardiff, with Japan’s visit marking the first time in nine years and the All Blacks playing in Cardiff for the first time since 2022. The ticket prices were revealed by the WRU, showing a significant reduction for one specific group of supporters.
Debenture holders and premium members were the first to have the opportunity to purchase tickets, with sales opening up to WRU Member Clubs from May 20 onwards. A new initiative this year offers a £5 discount across all games and seating categories for tickets acquired through clubs and priority audiences. Additionally, students can now benefit from a 50 per cent concession on ticket prices, previously only available to U18s fans.
The top-priced tickets for the New Zealand game on November 22 are set at £105 for Category A seats, while prices start as low as £30 with concessions. Fans can also catch the Argentina and Japan games for as little as £12.50 by opting for Category C seats or the alcohol-free zone of the stadium. The highest-priced tickets for these games are £45 without concessions.
All tickets for the four games will go on public sale starting June 17, as the WRU aims to make international rugby in Wales accessible to a wide audience. WRU CEO Abi Tierney emphasized the importance of keeping matches affordable and rewarding fans who purchase tickets early through clubs.
The introduction of student pricing follows a successful trial during the last Autumn Nations Series, reflecting a growing interest among younger audiences to attend international matches. With the lineup featuring matches against Argentina, New Zealand, and South Africa, alongside the return of Japan to Principality Stadium, fans can look forward to an action-packed Autumn Nations Series.
In a statement, Abi Tierney expressed excitement about the upcoming matches and the vibrant atmosphere international rugby brings to Cardiff. As preparations continue for the autumn internationals, the WRU remains committed to providing an opportunity for fans from around the world to experience top-quality rugby in Wales.
The Autumn Nations Series 2025 ticket prices for each match have been detailed, offering different pricing tiers for priority sales and public release. Fans can secure their tickets for the Wales v Argentina, Japan, New Zealand, and South Africa fixtures at varying prices based on seating categories and concessions.
