A driver crashed their van into a Chinese takeaway in Pembrokeshire on Saturday, September 21. Pictures posted from Pembroke Carvery at Common Road in Pembroke show emergency services at the scene following the crash. Officers from Dyfed-Powys Police joined fire officers from Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service at the scene.
Emergency services remained at the scene hours after the incident to ensure the area was safe. The one-vehicle collision happened on Saturday morning. The road wasn’t closed, and traffic wasn’t disrupted in the area following the incident. Pembroke Carvery said no-one in the takeaway had been hurt but they had been “very lucky”. “Everything is okay,” they said. “The van hit the wall but everyone is good. It all happened so quickly. Very lucky.”
They said they would open. The welfare of the driver involved in the collision isn’t known. The Welsh Ambulance Service has been contacted for comment.
