Welsh rugby fans are gearing up for the Wales vs. Scotland match at Principality Stadium on Saturday, February 3rd, with a kick-off scheduled for 4:45 pm. To ensure the safety and smooth entry of all ticket holders, a city-wide road closure is planned from 12:45 pm to 8:45 pm.
Traffic Advisory:
- The M4 motorway is expected to be congested. Plan your journey accordingly and consider using the park & ride at the former Toys R Us site in the Sports Village to avoid Cardiff congestion.
- Gates open at 2:30 pm. Attendees are urged to plan their journey in advance and arrive early.

Road Closures (12:45 pm – 8:45 pm):
- Kingsway, Cowbridge Road East, Tudor Street, Plantagenet Street, Beauchamp Street, Duke Street, Castle St, High Street, St Mary Street, Caroline Street, Wood Street, Central Square, Westgate Street, Quay Street, Guildhall Place, Golate, Park Street, Havelock Street, Scott Road.
- Station Terrace and Guildford Street will be accessible for buses only.
- Penarth Road will close 30 minutes before the game ends and up to an hour after the final whistle for safety reasons.
Civic Centre Restrictions:
- Controlled access for event parking, limited commuter parking, loading, and access to private car parks in the Civic Centre area.
Trains (South Wales Metro Upgrades):
- Buses will replace rail services between Pontypridd and Treherbert on February 3rd.

Park & Ride:
- Park & Ride facilities available at the former Toys R Us site in the Sports Village (CF11 0JS). Drop-off point: Callaghan Square.
