Teenage girl suffers ‘potentially life-changing injuries’ after acid attack at school

A 14-year-old girl has suffered serious injuries in a suspected acid attack outside a school, leading to potentially life-changing harm. Along with the girl, a 16-year-old boy and a 27-year-old woman were also treated following the incident. Two police officers were hospitalised after feeling unwell. The attack occurred at Westminster Academy in central London, where police were alerted by a staff member on Alfred Road, Westbourne Park, around 4.40 pm on Monday (September 30). The suspect is still at large, and multiple crime scenes have been identified.

The hospitalized girl is battling potentially life-altering injuries and remains in the hospital. The boy’s injuries are not life-threatening, and the discharged woman has recovered.
