Symptoms of deadly cancer that kills 11 people every day – yet most survive if caught early

Early testing for ovarian cancer can lead to early detection and increased survival rates. A study found that one in four women with the deadliest form of ovarian cancer could have the disease detected in its early stages. Those diagnosed in stages one or two have a 93% survival rate for five years. Testing for symptoms such as bloating, bowel changes, and abdominal pain is crucial. Researchers hope this study will raise awareness among GPs and patients. Ovarian cancer symptoms include a swollen tummy, pelvic pain, and changes in appetite. It’s advised to consult a GP if experiencing any of these symptoms, as early detection can improve treatment outcomes.
