Swansea man sets new world record for huge 300-mile car journey with a difference

A Swansea man, Kevin Booker, alongside Sam Clarke and co-pilot Richard Parker, achieved a new EV Guinness World Record for the longest journey on a single charge, covering 569.64 miles in a Ford Mustang Mach-E SUV. Booker, an electric motoring advocate, set multiple records including one for lowest energy consumption in an electric car in 2021. Clarke and McGrath also hold driving-related Guinness World Records titles. The record-setting journey showcased the potential of electric vehicles, traveling through various regions on public roads. Equipped with a 91kWh battery, the Mach-E Premium Extended Range SUV surpassed expectations with an average of 6.25 miles per kilowatt hour.
