A man has been charged with attempted murder after an 11-year-old girl was stabbed in Leicester Square, London. Ioan Pintaru, 32, remains in custody and is due to appear in court. The girl’s mother, initially thought to be injured, was covered in her daughter’s blood. Police are investigating the incident and believe the suspect and victims were not known to each other.
