South Wales care provider shortlisted for prestigious Business of the Year award

A local homecare provider with offices in Cardiff and Bridgend has been named a finalist in the prestigious Business Leader South West Awards.

The Right at Home franchise, which cares for older and disabled adults living across South Wales, including Cardiff, Newport and Vale of Glamorgan, is in the running for the Business of the Year (51+ Employees) accolade.

With previous winners including British explorer Sir Ranulph Fiennes, business icon Michelle Mone and presenter Jeremy Vine, the Business Leader Awards has become the South West’s most prestigious and celebrated business event of the year.

This year’s final will take place at the Aerospace Bristol on September 19, bringing together the most influential leaders in business, education and government to recognise and celebrate success.

Joe Guishard, owner of Right at Home Cardiff and Newport and neighbouring office Right at Home Bridgend and Vale of Glamorgan, commented: “Being shortlisted for this well-respected award fills me with immense pride.

“My team work hard every day to make a positive difference to their clients’ lives, ensuring they receive the best quality care possible, so they truly deserve this recognition.”

News of the awards nomination tops a great year for the Welsh care provider, with both offices recently receiving a Five Star Employer Award from employee engagement platform WorkBuzz.

Right at Home Cardiff and Newport and Right at Home Bridgend and Vale of Glamorgan were also listed in the top 20 home care providers in Wales by homecare.co.uk, after receiving dozens of positive reviews from clients and their families.
