Police said the car was being driven at ‘ridiculous speeds’
South Wales police are on the search for the driver of a Porsche which crashed outside a Cardiff pub in St Mellons. The police said the vehicle was being driven at “ridiculous speeds” before the crash on Sunday (December 11) and the are forensically examining the airbags which were deployed in the crash.
South Wales Police stated ‘the car was first spotted on Newport Road around 8.55pm, and later crashed near the pub at 9pm. South Wales Police Roads Policing Unit posted pictures on twitter showing the aftermath of the crash.
They said: “This one failed to stop for us and made of at ridiculous speeds in Cardiff. We unfortunately lost sight of it. Call then received that vehicle had crashed. Occupants decamped. Car recovered and airbags will be forensically examined to ID driver!”
