Furthermore, the masterplan envisions an extensive wellness garden, improvements around the whale sculpture area, new showers, toilet blocks, changing areas, and active travel links to enhance visitors’ experience. The document emphasises the potential of Aberavon seafront and aims to create a vibrant and attractive destination for generations to come. The proposals have received positive feedback from the community, with 75% of respondents supporting the goals outlined in the masterplan, including enhanced beach attractions, food options, and accessibility.

Although the masterplan has been approved, it is important to note that there is currently no allocated funding for the proposed projects. The flexibility of the masterplan allows for adjustments and adaptations as opportunities arise, ensuring that the developments align with the evolving needs of the community and visitors.
