Admiral, a major firm in Wales, has reported a significant increase in profits. The FTSE 100 company based in Cardiff saw profits rise by 32% to £309.8m in the first half of the year, with revenue rising by 43% to £3.21bn. The growth was driven by a 12% increase in customer numbers to over 10.5 million. The company’s share price rose by around 10% in response to the positive financial results. Admiral also announced an increase in its interim dividend and plans to focus on new corporate working models and enhancing AI capabilities.
