Here at CNO as i am sure like many others we look for news and happening in our local ever-changing city. And sometimes we stumble on a goodie while out and about and tapping away behind computer screens, we got to experience something which was a delight to the taste buds
We had a special (covid adhering) delivery from a very exciting new restaurant who has taken it apron themselves to cheer us all up by setting up during our ‘Fire-Break’ lock-down to be ready to feed our local city and surrounding areas from the 9th of November, The Fire Pit Cardiff @ Main Stage (11 Windsor place)
Now due to lock down we have had the food delivered to us at home and boy oh boy it was good!
We were delivered the following which can be found on their takeaway menu
‘Piggin lush Our soft burger buns filled with our pulled pork & BBQ sauce
FirePit spicy Chicken or Beef burger with cheese jalapeño & sriracha
Chili dog The classic dog with Mexican chili & cheese
Secret steak burger
A delicious well seasoned steak cooked to your liking in hand made onion jam and sauces’
Personally i am not normally a fan of a chicken burger, but the FirePit spicy chicken burger is literally to die for (extra i know) the sauce that they make in house is out of this world, its got a nice little kick to it and the chicken was cooked to perfection.
The Piggin lush pulled pork bun lives up to its name very well, i don’t think i have ever had such delicious pulled pork anywhere before we at CNO eat a lot of different meats and are complete self diagnosed foodies.
Chilli dog & Pit dog were amazing too, again not something we would normally order but 100% would when ordering from them again once they are fully open, the chilli was so good, not too wet and had a nice little kick to it too.
All in all, all of us at Cardiff News Online are excited to welcome this new establishment to our big little city, they are open TODAY from 1700 on the 6th of November at 11 Windsor place (beneath Main Stage) we will most likely see you there (when we are allowed out again of course)
