A new residential care facility for older people in Mountain Ash is set to be approved. The proposed development by Linc Cymru Housing Association includes 25 extra care apartments, 15 dementia care beds, and eight bungalows on Darran Road. The plans aim to provide much-needed specialist housing for the ageing population. The proposal has received no public objections and is recommended for approval by council planning officers. This project is part of RCT Council’s initiative to modernise care accommodation for older residents.
