Memorial Service Planned for Paria Veisi, Cardiff Woman at Center of Murder Investigation
In a tragic turn of events, a memorial service is set to take place for Paria Veisi, a Cardiff woman whose untimely death has become the focus of a murder investigation. The body of Paria Veisi was discovered by South Wales Police at a residential property in Penylan, Cardiff, following her disappearance and a subsequent missing persons’ appeal. The 31-year-old, who resided in Cathays, was reported missing on April 13, after she was last seen leaving her workplace in Canton at around 3 pm on April 12. Following these tragic events, a 41-year-old man from Penylan has been charged with murder, preventing the lawful and decent burial of a dead body, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm. Additionally, a 48-year-old woman from Australia Road, White City Estate, London, has been charged with preventing a lawful and decent burial of a dead body and conspiring to pervert the course of justice. Both appeared in Cardiff Magistrates’ Court on April 19 and have been detained in custody pending a scheduled appearance at Cardiff Crown Court on Tuesday, April 22, at 9 am.
