Meet proud Welshman lovable Luke, 36 who is a contestant on the new and exciting ‘married at first sight’ TV show now styled much like the hit Australian version which will be aired on e4, debuting on Monday 30th August.
So who is he?
Luke is born and bred in Cardiff, and is a huge Cardiff city fan but now lives on the outskirts of the Welsh capital in Pontyclun.
He has been described by friends as a “fun, humble and a gentle soul, a very caring loyal person who gives a 110% to whatever it is he does.”
Luke has worked with children in care for an astonishing 16 years and is even a firefighter in his local station (seriously… what a dream boat).
In his spare time Luke likes to take on new experiences and challenges such as raising over £2000 for Cancer Research by cycling from Cardiff to Paris with a couple of his friends, an adventure which they started with 3 bikes and finished with just one which you can read all about here.
Since loosing his confidence from his last relationship Luke has tried meeting his ‘One’ through various methods but sadly with no success, which is what attracted him to the expertise of the show, in the hope that he will have better luck in finding his soul mate.
Being such a humble and a gentle soul going on a TV show like ‘MAFSUK’ has been pretty daunting but offering something very different from some of the other grooms, really adds to what is going to be an explosive show.
