Kelly Brook, the 44-year-old TV star, has expressed her hopes that her husband Jeremy Parisi’s newfound television fame will not alter their relationship. The couple recently appeared together on ‘Celebrity Race Across The World’ and filmed a segment for ‘This Morning’ titled ‘Kelly And Jeremy: La Vita Italiana’, which centres around their life on a farm in Italy. Kelly admitted that allowing cameras into their marriage was a daunting experience. During an interview with OK! magazine, she confessed, “It was [daunting]. When we watched the first episode [of ‘Kelly And Jeremy: La Vita Italiana’] together, I said to Jeremy: ‘I feel like I’ve kept you as my secret for 10 years and now I’ve got to share you with the world.'”
The couple had been living a private and lovely life for a long time, and Kelly hopes that their newfound public exposure will not change anything between them. Jeremy is starting to be recognised by fans for the first time, with Kelly saying, “‘Race Across The World’ was really Jeremy’s first step in being on television and being recognised.” She also mentioned that people now approach him on the streets, something she had protected him from before. Kelly revealed that participating in the travel game show was a way for them to share a new experience and a new chapter in their nearly 10-year relationship. She added, “We wanted to share something together. It gave us a new experience and a new chapter in our life after almost 10 years together … It was so challenging on many levels, but Jeremy and I have very different lives, and this was something we could share. It was nice to do it as a team. We energised and encouraged one another.”
Kelly previously shared that her husband is not accustomed to all the attention he is receiving since appearing on the show. She told Closer magazine, “It’s been extraordinary, we go to the shopping centre, and he gets mobbed by women. They elbow me out the way. They’re like: ‘Jeremy!’ It’s so funny.” Despite the attention, Kelly finds the situation amusing and even mentioned feeling proud that Jeremy is handling the newfound fame well, despite his shyness towards the attention.
