Katie Price caused a scene as she left her court hearing, swearing at reporters and calling them “scumbags”. The hearing, related to Price’s bankruptcies, has been adjourned for her to attend a “private interview” regarding her finances. The former glamour model was scheduled to face questions in a specialist bankruptcy court on Tuesday. However, Price’s lawyers requested the adjournment for her to have a private interview with the trustee of her bankruptcies.
Bertie Beor-Roberts, representing Price, stated, “We are asking the court to adjourn the examination generally.” He explained that the purpose is for Price to engage constructively after attending the private interview. Chief Insolvency and Companies Court Judge Nicholas Briggs granted the adjournment, with Price undertaking to attend the private interview on September 24.
As Price left the court, she addressed journalists, expressing her disdain for the coverage of her case. She said, “I hope you reporters write a good story today, won’t you, all the bullsh*t that you write, scumbags.”
The court hearing’s outcome remains imminent, pending Price’s private interview.
