An inquest into the passing of beloved RuPaul’s Drag Race champion, The Vivienne, will begin today. The Vivienne, born James Lee Williams, captured hearts as the winner of the inaugural season of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK and later secured third place on Dancing On Ice in 2023. The sad news of The Vivienne’s departure was disclosed by their publicist, Simon Jones, on January 5 this year, describing them as “incredibly loved, warm-hearted, and amazing.” Jones shared the heartbreaking announcement on Instagram, expressing the deep sorrow felt by The Vivienne’s family at the loss of their son, brother, and uncle. The specifics surrounding the 32-year-old Colwyn Bay native’s passing have not been disclosed to the public.
