Nursing student Kerry Woodhouse, 45, suffered daily seizures after falling off an inflatable slide in June 2016, fracturing her back. This led her to give up her nursing career and become a full-time wheelchair user due to functional neurological disorder. However, she found hope after moving to an accessible home in November 2020, which improved her mental health and led her to resume work in September 2022 selling multi-use cookers. Kerry regained her driving licence in November 2023 and aims to walk again one day. She has not had a seizure since 2023 and continues to work towards her goal of walking independently.
