A tragic incident involving a black stallion named Ross has shaken the horse community on Anglesey. The distressing discovery was made on February 14, 2024, when the RSPCA Inspector Mark Roberts was called to examine a pony found in a pitiful state by Anglesey Trading Standards. The pony, identified as Ross, was visibly emaciated and bore a deep hole in his forehead, accompanied by signs of rain scald. Despite efforts to help the poor animal, the depth of his suffering necessitated immediate intervention.
