She noted, “You were given control of the running of a drugs line local to this area and a great deal of drugs were supplied. You pleaded guilty on the basis you owed a drug debt and as a means of payment you were given the drugs line to run.” Consequently, Payne was sentenced to 36 months in prison, with a requirement to serve half the term in custody before completing the remainder on licence.
