Royston Underwood, a man who had just been released from prison after seven years for stabbing, threatened bouncers at Coyote Ugly in Swansea with a screwdriver. He was then aggressive with police, had to be Tasered, and spat in an officer’s face. Underwood, who claimed no memory of the events due to intoxication, was sentenced to an extended prison term as a dangerous offender. This marked his 13th conviction for various offences.
