At one point, his weight had reached nearly 17 stone, giving him a BMI of 36.1, considered dangerously obese. High cholesterol levels and health warnings pushed him to make significant changes to his diet, opting for homemade meals over processed foods. Cooking from scratch allowed him to closely monitor his food intake and maintain control over his weight.

Reflecting on his previous lifestyle filled with takeaways, snacks, and excessive drinking, Gregg recognized the urgent need for change after a doctor’s warning about the potential for a major heart attack due to his high cholesterol levels.
