Gorton triple stabbing leaves woman dead as teenage girl and man fight for life

A tragic triple stabbing in Gorton has left a woman dead, with a teenage girl and a man in his 60s fighting for their lives. The incident, which occurred in Barnard Road near Longsight at around 11:20 pm on Sunday, saw a 17-year-old girl, a 43-year-old woman, and a 64-year-old man stabbed at a property. The woman died at the scene, while the other two victims were rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder, with police revealing that the suspect is believed to have known the victims. Detective Superintendent Toby Facey expressed shock and concern, stating that the authorities are providing support to the affected individuals and working diligently on the investigation. He urged anyone with information or dashcam footage from the area to come forward.
