Fury Vs Whyte for an eye watering record purse of £30.6 Million, but who gets what?

Warren won with a record bid of £30.6million (the biggest purse bid in boxing history) Eddie Hearn bid £23.9million.

The Winning bid will see, 10% as a winner’s bonus, while the rest is split 80/20 in favour of Fury to put his WBC belt on the line.

So whats that in actual figures?
Fury gets £22million,
Whyte gets £5.5million,
And the winner of the fight gets a Bonus of £3.1million, and possibly more importantly the WBC Belt.

We have it on good grounds that the Fury vs Whyte is April 23 (but a date is yet to be released)

The fight will be in the U.K, with our very own Principality Stadium as the most likely venue (fingers crossed) as its such a big venue with a closable roof, apparently football stadium options may be considered with the spring date opening up the possibility of an open-air event.

The official announcement for the fight will come next week.

“I’m coming home baby.

“Get ready for the biggest British dust-up since Lennox Lewis vs Frank Bruno. History in the making.” Said Fury, when the announcement was made that they will be fighting.

Whyte is still yet to speak.

Anthony Joshua said: “Even though Dillian Whyte is an enemy of mine, I’m low key happy for him.”
