Five major projects are underway in Llanelli to improve the town. These include the demolition of old council flats to make way for modern housing and new facilities in Tyisha, the restoration of the Llanelli Goods Shed into office space and community areas, the redevelopment of the former Raffles nightclub building into flats for veterans, the Market Street North scheme to create flats and commercial units, and the restoration of the former YMCA building into flats and commercial space. Additionally, the Pentre Awel project for healthcare, research, leisure, and housing at Delta Lakes is a significant development. Plans to revamp the former Odeon Cinema and progress on smaller regeneration projects in the town centre are also ongoing.
