During the court proceedings at Bristol Crown Court, it was revealed that the organized crime group led by the McCabes and Higgins had been procuring kilo quantities of cocaine for further distribution. Dennis McCabe, aged 50, residing on Townhill Road in Swansea, admitted to possession of crack cocaine with intent to supply and possession of criminal proceeds in the form of cash. Liam McCabe, aged 28, from Waldhof Court, Blaenymaes, Swansea, pleaded guilty to involvement in the supply of cocaine. Rhys Higgins, 34, previously of Clos John Charles, Cwmbwrla, Swansea, but now without a fixed address, also acknowledged being involved in the cocaine supply chain and possessing criminal proceeds in cash.

Higgins, with a history of drug-related offenses, had previously served a six-year and seven-month sentence for intent to supply cocaine. In a separate incident, he was imprisoned for 2,045 days following a high-speed police chase in Swansea. The court sentenced Dennis McCabe to three years in prison, Liam McCabe to seven and a half years, and Rhys Higgins to 10 years of incarceration.
