EasyJet is set to kick off its annual Big Seat Release sale, offering millions of bargain-priced seats and flights to eager travellers. The sale will commence at 8am on Tuesday, September 3, with seats available for travel between June 16, 2025, and September 30, 2025. According to The Mirror, around 18 million seats were up for grabs in the last release, with 10 million specifically for flights to and from the UK. Previous sales have featured tickets starting as low as £26.99.
Martin Lewis’s Moneysavingexpert.com has provided tips on securing the best deals, advising potential buyers to check the website early and refresh the page frequently. The sale will offer flights to over one hundred destinations across Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East from 19 UK airports. However, Lewis warns that prices can escalate rapidly within hours of the sale launch, emphasising the importance of being among the first buyers to secure the best prices.
Previous customers have shared success stories of being vigilant and quick to book during the sale. In some cases, fares on the app dropped significantly before the official sale start time, only to increase once the sale began. EasyJet’s sale is not the only one in the market, as Eurostar and Ryanair have also been offering discounted tickets. Ryanair’s current flash sale, ending on September 4, 2024, features tickets as low as £13.97 for various destinations.
