Dog Rescued from Horror Puppy Mill Undergoes Incredible Transformation
A dog named Dobby, a Havanese breed, was found in a cage in a puppy mill where she spent the first three years of her life. Described as having ‘haunted eyes,’ she was neglected and weighed only 8lb, half of what she should have weighed. Her fur was so matted that it had to be completely shaved off.
When Dobby was adopted in January and brought to her new home, she was still fearful and would only come out of her crate when alone in the room. However, over time, Dobby has made remarkable progress and is now happily eating and building trust with people once again.
