Disused bank converted into cannabis farm

A man was found living in a former bank building in Barry, Wales, where he was operating a cannabis farm after getting into debt with a gang. Arlind Vata, 23, was discovered by an engineer during a routine inspection, leading to his arrest and subsequent guilty plea for involvement in cannabis supply. He was sentenced to nine months in prison, with plans to return to Albania after serving his time. The cannabis farm contained 174 plants worth up to £78,000. The building has been forfeited and the plants destroyed.
