A couple was startled awake by a ‘massive bang’ in the night and quickly rushed to their window to witness a shocking scene unfold right before their eyes. Officers were engaged in a pursuit of a ‘suspected stolen’ car, which ultimately crashed into the wall of a front garden, scattering bricks and wall sections across the area. The incident took place on Upper Chorlton Road in the Firswood area of Trafford, Manchester, just after 2 am earlier today.
Terrifying footage captured the moment the car collided with the brick wall and flipped over onto the road as a police vehicle with flashing blue lights arrived promptly at the scene. Homeowner Mr. Yousaf shared that the loud crash jolted them from sleep, recounting the chaotic scene with the car losing control and smashing into the wall. He mentioned, “There was a massive bang. We woke up and jumped out of bed. There was a police car about 10 seconds after, so we knew it was a police chase that took place. Luckily, I think the driver was fine.”
