Council faces legal action over convicted paedophile headteacher

Council Faces Legal Action Over Convicted Paedophile Headteacher

A family is taking legal action against Gwynedd Council after their child was allegedly abused by Neil Foden.

A family is pursuing legal action against Gwynedd Council, claiming their child was emotionally and physically abused by Neil Foden, a former headteacher and convicted paedophile. Foden, convicted of 19 abuse offences, was sentenced to 17 years in prison earlier this year. Allegations suggest a history of complaints against Foden. A civil lawsuit is being pursued against the council by Andrew Grove and Co Solicitors. The North Wales Safeguarding Board initiated a Children’s Practice Review to improve child safety.
