A major city road was closed for several hours as police investigated a two-car collision.
South Wales Police said a Mercedes and a Toyota Rava crashed into each other at about 09:10 BST on Wednesday.
Cardiff’s Newport Road was closed in both directions between Colchester Avenue and Rover Way for more than five hours.
There were no reports of serious injuries.
