Body found in a Cardiff park

South Wales police have said there was a discovery of a males body in woodland, Cardiff, found in Marl Park near Channel View Road in Grangetown on Sunday afternoon.

A statement released by South Wales Police said: “A body of a man has been found in woodland in Marl Park near Channel View Road, Grangetown. Although formal identification has not yet taken place, the family of missing man Dean McGhan has been informed.

“The body was found yesterday afternoon (Sunday, December 11). There are no suspicious circumstances. Dean, 36, was last seen on Clive Street walking towards Ferry Road in Grangetown at around 4pm on Thursday, November 17. Enquiries will continue on behalf HM Coroner. Thank you to those who shared our missing person appeals. Our thoughts are with Dean’s family and friends.”
