Spanish dancer Gorka Márquez stirred up excitement while dancing with TV personality Dr. Punam Krishan over the weekend. However, his attention was reportedly diverted by his notably tight PVC trousers, which he likened to being ‘tighter than the nails in a submarine’. The Mirror reported that the situation escalated to the point where Gorka urgently sought expert advice before taking the stage. And who better to turn to than his reliable doctor and dance partner, Dr. Krishan? Discussing the incident on the BBC Two Show, Dr. Krishan shared, “We were just about to make the couples’ announcement, and he asked me, ‘What do I apply – powder, cream, or Sudocrem?’ I had to deflect his concerns at that moment and just focus on dancing!” On Instagram, Gorka also drew a comparison to Ross Geller from the popular TV series Friends. In one episode, Ross encounters a debacle while wearing tight leather trousers on a date. The 34-year-old dancer remarked, “I used talc, but the chafing between the legs was challenging. It felt like I was in a scene from Friends.” Despite the trouser mishap, the duo scored 18 points for their performance to Shania Twain’s ‘Man! I Feel Like A Woman!’. They will have another chance to impress the judges in Movie Week, with plans to execute a traditional Bollywood dance to the music from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. In other performances, TOWIE star Pete Wicks will Samba to the George of the Jungle theme tune, while Comedian Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell will jive to the Wayne’s World Theme.
