An unfamiliar backline being named as Welsh squad team announced to face Scotland

Teams : Scotland Vs Wales, February 13, 4.45pm GMT…. BBC and S4C

The bookies have the odd on Scotland to win at home, but are Wales being underestimated due to all of the injuries?

Since beating Ireland 21 -16 in the Principality Stadium, the first game since returning back to a stadium from an emergency nightingale hospital, last Sunday, seven fresh injuries have occurred in the squad

Which translates to over 20 international players unable for duty

“It has been a couple of days trying to put it together, to be honest, “Said head coach Wayne Pivac regarding his 23 that will head up to Murrayfield.

“Injuries of any description are not pleasant for the players and nobody wants them. However, it is part and parcel of the game.

“We’ve got about 21 players unavailable from the first Six Nations. It’s a high number.

Who is missing?
Current Squad:
Hallam Amos, Johnny Williams (both concussion), Tomos Williams (hamstring), Jonathan Davies (ankle), George North (foot), Josh Navidi (neck), Josh Macleod (Achilles) Dan Lydiate (ACL), Josh Adams (suspended).

Outside squad:
Rob Evans, Samson Lee, James Davies, Rhys Patchell, Jonah Holmes (all concussion), Nicky Smith (knee), Ross Moriarty, Ollie Griffiths (ankle), Aaron Shingler (health), Taine Basham (fractured forearm), Scott Williams (shoulder), Owen Lane (fractured foot), Gareth Anscombe, Ellis Jenkins (long-term knee).

With so much talent having to sit out it does give new fresh talent to show their flair, but will this be at the expense of our national team?
We at CNO wish them all a speedy and safe recovery
