Cardiff’s A-level results for 2024 were lower than last year but higher than the Welsh average, with 37% of results graded A* to A compared to Wales’s 29.9%. A*-C grades were 83.1% in Cardiff and 76.5% in Wales. The results were higher than 2019 but lower than 2023, marking a return to pre-pandemic grading. Cardiff Council congratulated students and noted the continued improvement in performance.
