As we move into the evening, it is largely dry with late sunny spells. However, clouds will build overnight, and showers, along with possibly more persistent rain, could edge into the southeast towards dawn. Winds will be lighter inland but remain breezy around the coasts, with a minimum temperature of 9°C.

In the realm of breaking news, a woman, Victoria (Vicki) Thomas, has been named as the victim of an alleged murder in Cardiff. A 44-year-old man has been charged in connection with the incident.
