UK Weather Forecast: First Day of Spring to Bring Hotter Temperatures than Ibiza and Corfu

Although the later part of the week promises warmer weather, the beginning may still feel chilly with some overnight frost. Mitchell explained that the current temperatures are around the average of 10°C, but the cold wind might make it feel even colder. However, as Wednesday and Thursday approach, temperatures are expected to rise significantly, creating a spring-like atmosphere. This warm spell is attributed to a large area of high pressure, typically associated with dry and sunny conditions.
The warmest regions are predicted to be in southern parts of the UK, with the South East and Midlands expected to experience the highest temperatures on Wednesday. By Thursday, this warmth is anticipated to spread further north, encompassing southern Scotland, Northern Ireland, and the entirety of England and Wales. Mitchell noted that only northern Scotland is likely to retain colder weather throughout the middle of the week.
