A 64-year-old woman is currently undergoing treatment for “life-changing” injuries at a hospital in Stoke following an incident where she was struck by a coach in Llandudno. The North Wales Police are urgently appealing for witnesses to provide information about the incident. The serious collision, which took place last month, has prompted an ongoing investigation by officers from the NWP Roads Policing Unit. The authorities responded to the accident on Saturday, July 20th, around 15:50 hrs, after a coach collided with a pedestrian on Deganwy Avenue.
According to a statement released by North Wales Police, “Officers from NWP Roads Policing Unit are appealing for witnesses and information after a woman sustained serious life-changing injuries following a collision in Llandudno last month. At approximately 15:50 hrs on Saturday, July 20, police were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Deganwy Avenue involving a coach and a pedestrian.” The pedestrian, a 64-year-old woman, is currently receiving treatment at a hospital in Stoke for her injuries.
PC Liam Gray, from the Roads Crime Unit, stressed the importance of potential witnesses coming forward, specifically appealing to the driver of a white vehicle seen in the area at the time of the accident. North Wales Live reports his statement, “We’d like to thank all those who have already contacted us, however we are particularly keen to speak with the driver of a white vehicle that was travelling along Deganwy Avenue from the direction of Gloddaeth Street heading towards Lloyd Street around the time of the collision.” Authorities are also seeking any dash cam or CCTV footage from the vicinity that could assist in the investigation.
