A 17-year-old boy has been charged with attempted murder in connection with an incident that left a man hospitalized in Newport. The alleged victim, a 36-year-old man, was discharged from the hospital following an assault on Caerleon Road in the early hours of St David’s Day. The 20-year-old man was scheduled to appear before Newport Magistrates’ Court on March 8, while the 17-year-old boy had a court appearance on Friday, March 7.
