A banned driver, David Ellis Jones, from Egremont, Cumbria, was caught drink driving on the A55 just a day after receiving a suspended jail sentence. Despite being banned from driving due to a previous drink-driving conviction, Jones was pulled over again on the A487 in Llanwnda, Gwynedd. North Wales Police have criticised his actions as “selfish, dangerous and irresponsible”. Jones has now been sentenced to 28 weeks in prison for his repeated offences.
