Leo Rawson, from Blackwood, obtained four A*s in maths, further maths, physics, and chemistry at A level. Inspired by watching Brian Cox on TV, he secured a spot to study Physics at Oxford University. Leo previously achieved 13 A*s in his GCSEs, allowing him to attend Cardiff Sixth Form College on a scholarship. Leo aims to encourage others to achieve and has organised debating events to help local students access higher-level skills. Leo attended workshops and a summer school at Oxford to prepare for his university entrance. Cardiff Sixth Form College Principal praised Leo’s hard work and adaptability in excelling in a competitive environment. Leo aspires to be a scientist, driven by his love for mathematics and physics.
