Plans have been submitted for a new public square with a splash pad on the former Debenhams site in Cardiff city centre. The square is set to include a stage for performances, space for markets and street food vendors, as well as new trees and plants. The £17m project is expected to be completed by summer 2026, pending planning approval. Landsec, the developers, aim to revitalize the area and enhance the city centre’s economy with this new addition.
