14 paddleboarders, including 5 children, were rescued in one day at Aberavon beach in Port Talbot as thousands flocked to the Welsh coast during sunny weather. RNLI lifeguards were kept busy with multiple incidents, urging beachgoers to stay safe and avoid taking inflatables in the water. The lifeguards rescued those in trouble with paddleboards and advised visitors to choose lifeguarded beaches for safety.
