Swansea amphitheatre forgotten for 40 years is being brought back to life

A forgotten Swansea amphitheatre, unused for 40 years, is being revived with a free three-day music and film festival called Amplitude. The event will be the first at the venue since the 1980s when it was a popular location for gigs. After receiving a £180,000 renovation, the amphitheatre near the LC entrance will host the festival from August 16 to 18, featuring film screenings and live music performances. The event marks a return to its former glory, offering a mix of entertainment for attendees.
