The Met Office has issued a warning of heavy rain and thunderstorms for parts of the UK from Sunday night into Monday. The forecast predicts torrential downpours and frequent lightning as temperatures rise, followed by windy conditions and thunderstorms on Monday. The threat is most likely for Wales, northern England, Northern Ireland, and southern and eastern Scotland. Yellow thunderstorm warnings have been issued for Northern Ireland, Scotland, and parts of northern England.
