A man with a history of violence and a “vicious temper” throttled and suffocated his partner during an argument. Paul St Peter, 33, no longer abuses steroids and is receiving counselling. Sentenced to 22 months in prison, he is also banned from contacting his ex-partner for 10 years. The victim suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder and is seeking medical treatment.
